There are no short cuts that won’t come back to bite you in the ass and ruin a season or cost you more in collateral damage.
Do it once and do it right.
I had no idea of the cost on my first build and there comes a point of no return regardless of how many nights you sleep on the sofa.
If a person is very handy and knows his way around a tool box you might be able to pull it off for around 10K but many of us have 15 to 20K invested.
More than 1000 man hours for a scratch build to boot.
The main problem being there are very few parts being made for the diesel engines and no info on how and what to do. I do hope to shed some light on this as I add to this webpage. I will just give you an idea of what things will cost here.
